Nothing In the Dark Cast Bios:
Emma Berwick (Little Girl): This talented and spirited  six-year-old is making her narrative film debut with this film. She has previously been featured  in the Matel/ Fischer Price Child Development Video: Baby University--- Baby's Day. Although playing a little girl is really no stretch for Miss Berwick, she was skillfully able to protray fear, despite the lack of any genuine danger and professional experience, like a consummmate professional.
Kimberly Kurus (Mother): A teacher by day, actress by night; Miss Kurus is no stranger to film and theatre. Her previous film credits include "Mother" in Stinking Cigar, and "Alice" in, the still-in-production indie, Deadwood Falls. Her NJ theatre credits include teh title role in Sylvia, "The Girl" in Seven Year Itch, and "Annelle" in Steel Magnolias. Although only featured here as a voice over, Kimberly will be making an on-screen lead appearance in the feature length version of NITD, which is still in pre-production; and as the "Hiker" in No Fishing.
Rebecca Rose (The Specter): At the ripe old age of seven, Miss Rose is quickly becoming a film veteran. Playing the mischievous and frightening Specter, Rebecca had to overcome the difficult limitations of acting behind a mask. However, she rose to the occasion and successfully portrayed menace through subtle body movement and gestures. Past credits include the Rick Weiss Humantarian Awards video Breath Of Life, as well as student films The Girl In the Window and Empty Picture for NYFA and Brooklyn College, respectively. Rebecca wishes to pursue a career in films, and when not acting in this film, pulled double-duty as a PA, fastly becoming a valuable asset for the production when it needed it most.
